

On a small island located off southern Italy, local monks hand wrapped fresh cheeses and meat in a dough loaf. This distinctive meal was served not only to all the monks but also to weary travelers on their long journey into the mountains. Over the years this hand-wrapped loaf became a tradition and was called stromboli, for the island where it all began.

Our delicious all natural bread dough is then stuffed with the finest meats and cheeses. Leonetti’s uses only Hormel brand Pepperoni, Italian Sausage and Ham, and Sorrento brand Whole Milk Provolone and Whole Milk Ricotta
